Frequently asked questions
Even if us citizens separate waste at home to recycle then everything is mixed up?
It is an urban legend that is not correct. Many times there has been confusion regarding the fact that a same truck collects waste from two different recycling bins at the same time without seeing that, actually, these trucks have separations and therefore can collect two types of different waste without mixing it, optimising routes and reducing polluting emissions. Of course there have been rare incidents in collection caused by flooding, big snow storms, works, etc., that hinder the service, but in any case, they will always be an exception and, if identified, we always recommend the local authorities in charge are made aware.
